STRIPE ME HAPPY

So, I don't know if I am striped obsessed because I have seen Claudia Schiffer in many different stripe tops recently. By the way for those who don't know, she is very much prego and looks fabulous in stripes. Ha, I don't think is the normal esp when the stripes are horizontal and across belly but again, she looks fabulous. See for yourself, I have attached an image with her in her stripes below.

While surveying the stores this past Sunday, I of course had to stop by Forever at Water Tower to see what they had in new. Right before I was about to leave a t-stand greeted me with one fabulous looking stripe cardi:

Note, you don't have to be prego to wear stripes. They are in for spring, period - Forever 21 definitely does not cater to the mom to be. Go find your stripes and wear them proud (:

SHINE that lasts!

Ok, so the following post has nothing to do with articles of clothing, shoes or accessories but any lady who likes to shop LIKES TO HAVE HER NAILS look and stay fabulous.

I found this AMAZING top coat by CND Essentials called Super Shiney.

It prolongs a mani like you don't know!!

Since being prego, I have had to take prenatal vitamins which have my nails growing like weeds. Its great because now I have every excuse to go get my weekly mani.

The girl who does my nails is amazed by how they keep the full week, "no chip... still shiney"??

I hate to break it to her, it has nothing to do with her skills or the fact that I am not working. Trust me these hands are just as functional as they were before February 12!

I found mine from Bravco in Chicago. They also sell it at ULTA.

I am not sure who would sell it on the east coast but if you are going to start anywhere, why not Ricky's??

BAG IT, FASHIONABLY!

Yesterday while browsing through JCREW I found this fabulous Canvas bag:

Style number: 099101968471 "Reusable Canvas Tote"- EC1471, $10.

Unfortunately is not sold through online, so if you are interested you will have to hit up a JCREW store. The bag is FABULOUS and I can't wait to use it. I love the etched figurine of a Ms Fabulous herself, I would presume she is shopping (:

The bag cost a mere $10, so I just had to have it!

I have MANY of these kind of reusable bags and for those who know me, KNOW I USE THEM. They are great to tote around when you know you will be browsing the stores, and if you do purchase something you have a bag to through your purchases in... best of all it can be worn on your shoulder for easy carrying home. The quality is nice, washed cotton canvas, which seems quite durable. What really sold me was the etched image of Ms Fabulous.

COSTUME JEWELRY FINDS ON SALE

For those who know me, know I love to find costume jewelry (esp rings).

I absolutely LOVE the following skinny cuff bracelet from Tory Burch!

What a GREAT spring little jewelry staple at an affordable price ($95).

Although it is nothing like Hermes Collier De Chien Cuff Bracelet, I feel there is a slight resemblance and affordable one!! There are four colors offered in all different finishes.

Peasant Cheesecloth Top:

I was inspired to find a cotton gauzy top like this after seeing the movie, The Other Boleyn Girl. Scarlet wore a white gauze top like this when prego and not being able to get out of bed. I know it is kind of odd that I wanted the top but hey it wasn't more then 2 months later that I was at the MAGIC show and saw this top on display for Elan. Love when that happens. So when it finally hit stores, I HAD TO BUY it and buy it in 2 colors. The fabric, yes Cheescloth fabric is so great for the hot summer days/nights. This top is offered in 4 different colors. At this time I can't find any retail establishment that is selling this style but it is a RE-ISSUED for Sp10'.

I have it in Pink and White and LOVE it with jeans. I wear my own belt which I synch a the waist. Elastic belts are best~ I emailed ELAN to find out if any stores will be selling this FABULOUS style of theirs, as soon as I get a reply, I will be sure to update this post.

LIGHT WASH JEANS

Light wash jeans were the HARDEST to come by last spring.

Finally they are being produced for Spring 2010.

Such a great color for light pastels and nudes.

Great Fit to wear with flats and flat sandals:

GAP: Easy Straight, Destructed Jeans (faded wash), $69.50

I luckily have an old pair of sample jeans that are this same wash from the good ol' days while working @ GAP. I did try this pair on and loved them but because I already have a pair that still has space to grow with my belly, I opted out on not buying them :(

These were SUPER cute though. Boyfriend cut but so comfy with out looking like a boy.

MOCCI'S

Moccis as in Moccasins.

They have been around for a while and came back when Ms Fabulous herself, KATE MOSS started wearing the Black High Suede Fringe Boots.

Thankfully they have not really gone out of style and I love seeing new versions of this classic.

I came across these this morning while visiting CELEB STYLE. They were of course worn by Nicole Richie herself (the designer). I was like OH LAH LAH, where are those from... dugh, of course they were made by ms fabulous II, Nicole Richie.

They come in an array of colors. I personally love this slate color although they are calling it brown. These would look great with Leggings, Jeggings or the spring fashion must pant, "Cigarette Pant"...

**Guess's MACOYA Wedge**

$99 and can be found at some different web sites. I bought mine at Nordstrom in Arizona but Nordstrom online does not have them available. I wore mine last week and can we say COMFY! This photo does not do the wedge justice, the espadrille portion has a little hint of gold lurex through it... magnifique!

I wore these with my new AG Maternity light washed jeans, topped with a long white cheese cloth top synched with a gold belt. Great outfit and I hope I can wear it again in my 6th month of pregnancy!
